Nay; every one of them wishes to be given an illuminated open Book.
This verse portrays the status of disbelievers’ mind during Messenger’s period before Lord’s Book was codified. Today the Arabic Qur’an Reading Fujjar whose ledger is in Sijjeen of the Hell as told in verse 83: 7 have made their food rejecting Adhikr which explains each and everything and which is the Best Interpretation of Lord’s Book. They have read in verses 25: 33-34 that they will be dragged prone on their faces in to the Hell, and they are in the worst place and are the most strayed. They are leading a life here rejecting the fact warned through the verses such as 17: 13-14; 23: 62-64 and 45: 28-31 that their book of deeds which is fastened upon their neck will be given to them on the Day of Judgement as an illuminated spread open book, and will be told: you read your book, today you are enough for your reckoning.
